He was also one of the five Navy sailors who tragically died when their helicopter went down in the Pacific Ocean 15 miles south of Point Loma. Clingman leaves behind his wife Ashley... .. and his ten-month-old baby girl Aiden, who was born last year on the fourth of July. His father Lee says he had just completed a five-year tour as a rescue swimmer and was training on USS Nimitz for another tour.
