Navy SEAL Recruit Rescued from Mount Laguna

The hiker was wheeled into the hospital on a stretcher late Wednesday.

A man missing from a Navy SEAL training exercise for more than 10 hours was rescued from Mount Laguna.

The 24-year-old unidentified man was found dehydrated but otherwise uninjured just west of Big Laguna Lake around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials reported the man missing after more than 10 hours had past since he had checked in.

San Diego County launched its helicopter and located the hiker in a ravine.

The hiker was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital. His identity has not been released.
