Two men were hospitalized -- one with life-threatening wounds -- Monday night after a double stabbing in National City, according to police.
The stabbings occurred around 7:30 p.m. near Plaza Boulevard and B Avenue.
The victim with severe wounds was taken into surgery at the UCSD Medical Center. The second victim was also hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police told NBC 7 they did recover some weapons at the scene. They are not saying if the victims were fighting each other or if they are both victims of a third person.
National City Police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
