A Pacific Beach home was invaded by an unusual intruder on Sunday. The resident of the house woke up to find a naked man sleeping on his couch, police said.

The man was hammered when he somehow got into the house and passed out on the couch, San Diego Police Lt. Jim Filley said.

When the man was questioned, he apparently thought he was in his own home in Mission Valley about 20 miles away, Filley said.

Police found the man’s clothes outside in the front yard, where he had apparently taken them off before walking in through an unlocked front door.

Police say the homeowner declined to file charges against the man.
