Mitt Romney to Spend Memorial Day in San Diego

Romney, along with John McCain, will pay tribute to U.S. servicemen at the Veterans Museum & Memorial Center

Expected Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney will spend Memorial Day this year in San Diego, paying tribute to U.S. service men and women at Balboa Park.

Romney will be joined by 2008 GOP nominee John McCain at the Veterans Museum and Memorial Center for a special Memorial Day Tribute on Monday morning.

The tribute starts at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.

On Sunday, many people were at the Veterans Museum box office picking up free tickets to the event, which is expected to draw in thousands of attendees.

Tickets for the Memorial Day Tribute first became available on Thursday, but they quickly ran out. More free tickets had to be printed Sunday morning to accommodate requests.

The Veterans Museum and Memorial Center is located at 2115 Park Boulevard.
