    Despite the Hourglass Park's safe reputation, many in the Mira Mesa area told NBC 7 reporter Diana Guevara they'll take extra precaution after an alleged attempted sex assault.

    San Diego police say a woman was sexually assaulted at Hourglass Park, just off Black Mountain Road in Mira Mesa.

    San Diego police sex crimes investigators are looking for a man wanted for attacking a woman in the park around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

    The woman, described by police as in her 30s, called her brother for help. Once the victim's brother arrived, police say the suspect pulled out a screwdriver and attacked the brother, hitting him in the head.
