A HAZMAT team has responded to a call for mercury contamination at Goldworks Gallery in University Heights, according to San Diego Fire Rescue.

One patient has been quarantined as a precaution for mercury contamination at 4243 Park Blvd., but has not been transported to a hospital.

Police will be in the area controlling traffic while a HAZMAT crew investigates.
