    Two men involved in a shooting and murder in the Gaslamp district were sentenced to life in prison on Friday.

    Dontaye Craig, 28, received 75 years to life in prison, plus an additional 11 years. Frederick Roberson, 25, received 189 years to life plus 20 additional years.

    Both men were convicted of killing LaKiesha Mason on her 21st birthday in May 2009. She was shot and killed when she, her sister and a friend stumbled upon a gang fight outside a downtown club.

    The typically vibrant Gaslamp Quarter turned somber Tuesday night at a candlelight vigil for a young, expectant mother gunned down over the weekend.

    LaKiseha was pregnant at the time of the murder.

    The third man involved in the crime, Rashad Scott, will be sentenced at a later date.
