Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed his wife to death in her home early Monday morning.
Officers were called to the 2500 block of Monette Lane in Serra Mesa around 6 a.m. When they arrived, they found Caridad Hendrix, 51 dead in a bedroom.
Police say Caridad's husband, Marquin Anthony Hendrix, 61 reported the crime to a relative before fleeing to an unknown location.
“Marquin Hendrix is to be considered armed and dangerous,” said Lt. Bryan Pendleton.
He was last seen in the Linda Vista area of San Diego driving a 2004 maroon Chrysler Crossfire bearing California license plate 5MFB596.
