According to investigators, the well-dressed bank robber they dubbed the Dapper Bandit ripped off a U.S. Bank in Point Loma. Officials said he walked into the bank in the 2150 block of Chatsworth Boulevard shortly before 10 a.m. on Dec. 27. He showed a teller a gun, demanded money and then took off.

According to investigators, the well-dressed bank robber ripped off a U.S. Bank in Point Loma. Officials said he walked into the bank in the 2150 block of Chatsworth Boulevard shortly before 10 a.m. on Monday. He showed a teller a gun, demanded money and then took off.
The thief is described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall, 200-pounds. He in his 20s or 30s.
Police said he has a tattoo on the right side of his neck, which could be in cursive writing.
