Emergency crews are working to rescue a man stuck in a palm tree in Clairemont.

The man was trimming a 25-foot-tall tree in the 7500 block of Beal St. when he became stuck, according to the San Diego Fire Department.

Authorities said the man was wearing a harness when he became stuck.

Incidences like these are known to be deadly. Tree trimmers have suffocated to death when the tree's leaves collapse around them.

Shortly after the incident was reported, the man was safely removed from the tree.
