Man Stabs Brother With Hedge Clippers: PD

The older brother was arrested on an attempted murder charge

A fight between brothers ended violently Friday when one stabbed the other with a pair of hedge clippers in San Diego's Rolando community, according to police.

Around 5:30 p.m., two brothers got into an argument over money in the 4000 block of Casita Way.

Police say the older of the two became angry, grabbed the hedge clippers and began chasing his little brother.

He finally stabbed him at least once in the forearm, opening a large gash.

The victim in his early 20s was taken to a nearby trauma center for non-life threatening injuries, while his older brother was arrested at the scene.

Officials say he will be booked into jail on a charge of attempted murder.
