Man Stabbed, Kicked by Group Over Parking Space

The alleged assault happened on Island Avenue

A 23-year-old man was allegedly attacked by a group of four suspects following a dispute over parking early Saturday morning, police said.

The altercation and subsequent stabbing happened around 1:45 a.m. in the 200 block of Island Avenue.

The victims got into a verbal argument with four Hispanic males over some sort of parking situation, police said, but further details were not released.

The dispute became physical and the group of suspects stabbed the victim multiple times, also kicking him while he was on the ground.

Police said the stabbing suspects fled the scene in a dark blue Nissan Altima. They’re still at large.

The wounds the victim sustained are non-life threatening, officers said.

The assault is under investigation.
