Man Raped Girl After Sneaking Into Room: Police

    A 29-year-old man who allegedly attacked and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl after sneaking into her house in Skyline has been taken into custody, according to police

    Imshay Segrest was arrested about 2 p.m. Tuesday at his home on Ritchey Street, police said.

    The family knew Segrest, according to police. The girl’s father confronted him after hearing movement coming from her room as she tried to fight him off, police said.

    Segrest faces several charges including rape by force or fear, sexual battery and false imprisonment. He is being held on $335,000 bail.
