Man Poses as City Worker Robs Elderly Woman

An elderly woman was burglarized on Tuedsay by a man posing as a city worker.

The man dressed all in gray told the woman he was investigating a sewer break in her neighborhood and told her to wait outside while he worked, investigators said.

The woman entered the house after a short time and discovered the man was gone along with some of her belongings.

The man is described as a Hispanic male in his 40's, six-feet tall, 200 lbs.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call San Diego Police at 858-495-7900.
