Man Learns Fate in Carpet Store Stabbing

A man convicted in the stabbing death of a customer at a San Diego-area carpet store has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
Michael Gonzales also was sentenced Friday to an additional year on a weapons charge.
Prosecutors say Kory Sparks was fatally stabbed in May 2008 at Carpet Pad Collections. He did not know Gonzales and was randomly picked for the attack.
