Authorities in Scripps Ranch are warning residents to beware of a man who reportedly masturbated in front of children.
Three young girls saw the man Wednesday night at about 6:30 p.m. masturbating near some children at the Scripps Ranch Community Park on Blue Cypress Drive, police said.
Moments later, police received another report of a suspicious person with a similar description at Spring Canyon Park on Scripps Poway Parkway (see map below).
Police believe the same suspect was reported for making animal noises in the bushes at Spring Canyon Park on August 15.
They believe he is a registered sex offender, about 5'10'' to 6'2'' wearing a white button up shirt, khaki pants and a floppy hat at the time the girls saw him Wednesday.
He was seen driving a white Honda in poor condition with a California license plate number 6PBX815.
