Cilibraise charged in alleged grocery store incident

A 29-year-old man was arrested Friday after a witness reported finding a 2-year-old child touching the man inappropriately inside a La Mesa grocery store restroom.
Russell Cilibraise III allegedly committed a lewd and lascivious act with a child last Wednesday shortly before 7 p.m. at a Vons store at 8011 University Ave.
The witness reported finding Cilibraise on a toilet with his pants down and the toddler sitting on his lap, touching Cilibraise's penis, said Sean Snow, La Mesa police detective.
Cilibraise is being held on $100,000 bail. The investigation is continuing.
