Man Attacks Woman Carrying Groceries

A San Diego woman was attacked on her way home from the grocery store Sunday.
San Diego police said a man jumped the woman around 3:45 p.m. in the 3200 block of Kemper Street in the Midway District.
The victim was walking with a bag of groceries, when she was pulled into some bushes and assaulted, police said.
The suspect is described as African American, about 30-years-old, with a short to medium length curly afro, dark complexion, approximately 5’10” with a thin but muscular build and unshaven with a stubbly beard. He was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans, according to police.
The police sex crimes unit is investigating and looking for any information from the public.
