A man was attacked with a razor blade while walking his dog in San Diego's Nestor area Friday by a suspect who accused him of stealing his dog.
The victim was walking on the 1900 block of Rimbey Avenue at around 6:10 a.m. Friday when the suspect, now identified by the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) as Ivory Daniels, 35, approached him. The men began arguing over the dog.
Daniels struck the victim with a razor blade, leaving a small laceration on his neck, police said. The victim went to a neighbor's house and called the police; he was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Officers were able to track down Daniels at a park. He was arrested and booked into San Diego County Jail a few hours later on one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon. He's set to appear in court on Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing. No one else was hurt in this incident.
