San Diego police are looking for two men who robbed and severely beat up a man while he was walking home, leaving him bloody and bruised.

The random attack happened at 2 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of El Cajon Boulevard and College Avenue in Rolando.

After the two men beat the victim, described by police as a man in his 30s, someone at a nearby coffee shop called 911.

The victim was taken to the hospital.
