Man Admits Selling ‘E' to Woman Who ODd

A man who sold Ecstasy to a 21-year-old woman who overdosed and died has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Marvin Bada admitted Friday to distributing Ecstasy, or MDMA, resulting in a death.

The victim died of Ecstasy toxicity and no other factors contributed to her April 2009 death, according to the San Diego County medical examiner's office.

He faces up to 20 years in federal prison when he is sentenced March 21.

Authorities say the charges stemmed from a seven-month investigation of Bada.
