Man Accused of Groping Customers

NBC San Diego

An employee of an Oceanside business is in jail, accused of molesting his customers.

Jose Ortiz Giron, 41, was arrested Tuesday at the Olive Tire Shop in the 260 block of Airport Road, according to police.

Giron is accused of groping female customers while they waited for their vehicles to be serviced at the Olive tire shop, according to police.

Investigators believe Giron groped the victims on top of and under their clothes in at least two incidents since October.

Police say there could be more victims out there. If you think you may have been a victim, you’re encouraged to call Detective Steve Stracke at (760) 435-4703.

The suspect is being held at the Vista jail and scheduled to be arraigned later this week.
