The 33rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade is scheduled to be held Sunday afternoon along San Diego's waterfront.

Beginning at around 2 p.m., the festivities will be held at the County Administration Center, located at 1600 Pacific Highway.

The parade will run along North Harbor Drive to G Street.

Among this year's participants will be high school marching bands and drill teams, floats, church groups, peace groups, and college fraternities and sororities.

This year's parade was coordinated by the Zeta Sigma Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, the oldest black fraternity in the United States, founded in 1906 at Cornell University.
