He was just a kid, going to a concert with his friends. The evil excuses for human beings who shot him had nothing to do with the choices he had made. His only bad choice was to go out alone to get his cell phone from his car. When you come from a safe, sheltered community like Rancho bernardo, well.. you are very used to feeling safe alone at night. To you people who are writing such judgemental, mean spirited comments about this man.. let's hope for your sake nothing this horrible ever happens to your families. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon in San Diego. He always had a smile on his face, he was always trying to help others and put people's needs who were less fortunate than he was over his own. I only knew him for a little over a year but he is someone i will never forget. R.I.P Brandon. We all miss you more than you can imagine ... MORE >

Brandon was a fun, loving person who was very respectful and educated. We had the privilege of being his youth pastors and friends. He was very down to earth and was passionate about reaching his goals. It is so sad to hear that someone selfish and coldhearted has caused so much pain to the Evans family and friends, by taking his life away in such a cowardly way. It is easy to comment in such a negative way when something like this hasn't happened to someone close to you. But just as we lost a dear friend and it hurts so bad, we would like YOU to reach into your heart before commenting and to fully support his mother's plead. NO ONE is exempt of having such a tragedy, and believe me it's not easy. Please support his family and friends by praying and by not writing any negative comments.
