A man accused of driving a stolen car was injured by a San Diego Police K-9 Officer during a pursuit through Encanto Wednesday.
Officers say the man was driving a stolen car when he was spotted by police near the Imperial Avenue trolley stop.
The driver refused to stop and a police pursuit began, officials said.
The unidentified suspect struck as many as three parked cars along the way and came to a stop in a cul-de-sac, police said.
A K-9 was released and officers broke a window to get the suspect out of the car.
The man was bitten in the arm by the police dog as he was taken into custody.
