Law enforcement officers discovered more than 800 marijuana plants last week while investigating a cultivation operation in Julian.
On Sept. 25, officials from the San Diego Narcotics Task Force and the Julian Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant at 17875 Oak Lake Lane and discovered a sophisticated marijuana grow at the scene.
Investigators say the cultivation operation spanned across three large greenhouses and a main residence. Detectives seized a total of 839 marijuana plants from the location.
The total weight of the plants was approximately 600 pounds.
Investigators arrested Paul Hage Sedlock at the scene on suspicion of cultivation and sales of marijuana. Officials say Sedlock was booked into jail and had pending criminal charges on his record tied to other cases at the time of his arrest.
