Jeff Detrow and Jerry Cesak, known to many San Diegans as "Jeff & Jer," announced Wednesday that they are returning to morning radio.

"The Jeff and Jer Show" used to be heard on Star 94.1 until 2009 when the station pulled the plug on the cast of characters including Tommy Sablan, Laura Cain and Randy Hoag.

Listeners joined the Jeff & Jer Facebook page and followed the crew as they broadcast from Jerry's garage until Tuesday afternoon when Jer posted the news saying, "Since we have been out in our bunkers for awhile, be sure to tell every person you have ever met, ever."

Then, Wednesday morning, they revealed their destination - KYXY 96.5.

"The Jeff & Jer Showgram" will debut on KYXY Monday, Jan. 24.

Sonny West, Susan DeVincent and Kevin Dean will move to afternoons Mon-Fri 3-7pm and Gene Knight will move to evenings (M-F 7p-12m) also beginning on Jan. 24, according to a news released issued by KYXY.
