Jackson Rumored to Leave Chargers

The 6' 5" Jackson is poised to cash in on the talent that made him one of the top deep threats and big play wide receivers in the game

Vincent Jackson appears to be packing his bags for Florida.

The Chargers former first round draft pick is one of the top wide receivers in the 2012 free agency market and could be a Tampa Bay Buccaneer by Tuesday night. NFL beat writers from San Diego to Florida are reporting Jackson is in contract talks with the Buccaneers.

Jackson, 29, received the franchise tag from the Chargers in 2011, but the club opted to let him test the open market this spring and it didn’t take long for the interest to percolate into the framework of a long term contract.

The 6' 5" Jackson is poised to cash in on the talent that made him one of the top deep threats and big play wide receivers in the game.

Jackson has 4,754 yards and 37 touchdowns in 91 career games as a Charger.
