A residential fire was reported at an El Cajon home Sunday night, according to the Heartland Fire Department.
At about 8 p.m., the fire broke out at a home in the 1400 block of Circle Drive.
Firefighters believed the fire started in the garage. It is not known if the residents were home at the time of the fire.
There were no reports of injuries.
The fire was knocked down by about 9 p.m.
