House Fire Contained in Bay Terraces

A single-story home burned in Bay Terraces Tuesday afternoon, according to the fire department.

Fire and smoke was seen from the home's backyard at 7778 Praire Mound Way.

Just after 5 p.m. firefighters contained the fire in the detached building in the back of the house.

All occupants were evacuated and no injuries were reported.
