Homeless May Have Started Hwy Fire: Cops

Officials say a homeless camp may have been the site of a small brush fire that slowed traffic along Highway 163.

According to fire officials, the fire broke out near Robinson Avenue just after 3 a.m. Thursday.

California Highway Patrol and San Diego police officers were on hand diverting traffic to one lane.

Fire crews were able to knock the flames down within minutes.
