Hit-and-Run Crash, Stabbing May Be Connected: Cops



    A hit-and-run crash in San Diego’s Midway District may be connected to a stabbing according to officials.

    One woman was hospitalized after a traffic accident around 11 p.m. Tuesday near Sports Arena Boulevard.

    The driver of the meat truck involved in the collision ran from the scene according to San Diego police.

    They found the man a short time later and took him into custody.

    Now, officers say they're also investigating a possible stabbing in connection with this incident.

    Someone was stabbed in the eye officials said. Authorities say they’re piecing the details together.
