A high speed pursuit that traveled more than 100 mph ended in a crash in Kearny Mesa on Tuesday night.
Around 9 p.m. CHP officers were conducting speed enforcement on state Route 52 near highway 125 when a car evaded a traffic stop.
Officers pursued the man onto Santee streets as he passed red lights, and once the driver got back on the freeway he hit speeds up to 120 mph.
Near the end of the chase the driver tried to get on Interstate 15 from SR-52. Officers said his speed couldn't handle the curve so he crashed and rolled the car.
There is no word on the driver's condition and officers are investigating the possibility of a DUI.
