Hannah Anderson Answers New Questions About Abduction

Among the questions was one that asked why she didn't run from her alleged captor James Lee DiMaggio

Hannah Anderson, the San Diego teenager who was kidnapped and found in the Idaho wilderness after being held hostage, was again answering questions about her ordeal and the crime spree that began with murders of her mother and brother at the hands of her captor.

"I break down at night. So I get it all out before the next day," reads the post on the San Diego teen's ask.fm page when asked how she's handling everything following the deaths of her mother and brother in August.

Among the questions was one that asked why she didn't run from her alleged captor James Lee DiMaggio.

"How do you know he never had me handcuffed.? Because there you are wrong. Don't assume things you don't know. Just stop," reads the post.

Like any teenager, she talks of homecoming dance, hair styles, music and a new boyfriend.

Timeline: Searching for Hannah Anderson

Hannah's brother, Ethan, and her mother, Christina, were found dead on Aug. 4 at the burned property of kidnap and murder suspect DiMaggio, 40, in the community of Boulevard, near San Diego.

According to search warrants, investigators believe DiMaggio – a longtime friend of the Anderson family – “tortured and killed” Christina and Ethan.

DiMaggio fled San Diego with Hannah, sparking an Amber Alert that spanned across six states. Hannah and DiMaggio ended up in the rugged Idaho backcountry near Cascade and Morehead Lake, where they were spotted by a group of horseback riders on Aug. 7. The pair was ultimately found by an FBI tactical team near Morehead Lake on Aug. 10.

Hannah was rescued safely by officials. DiMaggio was shot at least five times and killed at the scene.

The 16-year-old Lakeside girl spoke to NBC's "Today" show last month and called herself a survivor, not a victim.

“You are who you are,” she said. “And — you shouldn’t let people change that. And you have your own opinion on yourself, and other people’s opinion shouldn't matter.”
