Note to would-be burglars: even if you don’t see a security guard walking the property, that doesn’t mean no one is watching.
That proved to be true in San Diego early Monday when an off-site security guard watched three burglary suspects climb a fence surrounding a limousine service.
The company, San Diego Luxury Transportation, is located on Twain Avenue in the Grantville area.
Just before 2 a.m., the three suspects tried to get into the company’s office building.
A security guard saw the whole thing on a monitor miles away and called police.
The San Diego police helicopter arrived and found three men inside the fence. Two suspects jumped the fence and got away. The third injured his finger in his getaway attempt.
He was taken into custody and treated for a cut on his finger.
Investigators found a backpack, a computer and cell phone that were dropped by the suspects.
