Getting Carjacked Via CraigsList

CraigsList

A San Diego man lost his classic car in an Internet sale gone criminally awry.

The incident began when the victim listed his 1973 Chevy Chevelle for sale on CraigsList on Dec. 28. According to the listing on the online marketplace, the owner was from San Diego and was asking for $4,600.

On Sunday at about 5 a.m., a man arrived who had told the victim he wanted to test-drive the vehicle. Instead, the crook pushed the victim and took off with the car, which was last seen in the 3200 block of Imperial Avenue in the Stockton neighborhood of San Diego.

The car is a black coupe, with a beige top and 24-inch chrome rims. Anybody who spots the car is being asked to call San Diego police.
