NoLIbs is trying to reduce crime since the brutal murder of Sabina Rose O'Donnell in June.

Michael Portantino, longtime publisher of San Diego's Gay and Lesbian Times, plunged to his death, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The 52-year-old apparently jumped and landed on a cement walkway in the 500 block of Spruce Street sometime before 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.

A passerby discovered Portantino’s body next to the Park Manor Suites hotel.

The Medical Examiner's office ruled the death a suicide.

    Services are pending.
