Gas prices kept on climbing this week. We haven't seen these prices since 2008.
The average for regular gas on Friday was $3.26 in San Diego County. That's almost 10 cents more than this time last week and 33 cents more than a year ago.
After seeing the highest prices of the year, it looks like we're getting some relief. Prices should start coming down over the weekend, so if you wait to fill your tank, you'll save a few pennies.
Look for a drop of two to four cents by Monday especially at the independent stations.
