Gas Line Break, Residents Evacuated

Some residents in Linda Vista were evacuated Wednesday after a gas line broke, according to police and SDG&E.

The 2-inch line broke at about 1 p.m. on Ulric Street and Morly Street.

A lot of digging was being done to reach the line, according to firefighters.

Most residents in the neighborhood were still evacuated at 4.30 p.m.
