A fire broke out at a home in Mission Hills Wednesday night, fire officials said.
The blaze began around 10 p.m. at a single-family residence on Ft. Stockton Drive and Ampudia Street.
Officials said the home was fully-involved in flames and smoke, which was visible from a distance.
By 10:15 p.m., police had evacuated neighboring homes as a precaution and no injuries were reported.
According to witnesses and neighbors, a car drove by and its occupants may have thrown something flammable at the home, although authorities have not yet confirmed this.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire and said the home was not occupied. It was in the process of being built.
