Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase Drifts in This Sunday

The seventh annual Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase will roll into the Gaslamp this Sunday, October 11.

The show, featuring everything from Corvettes and Vipers to a 1930 Model A Ford, is free to the public and features more than 150 cars and motorcycles along six blocks from E to K Street.

“We’ve got …a really diverse selection of cars – 150 high-performance and classic vehicles.” Brandy Shimabukuro of the Gaslamp Quarter Association told NBC7. “The La Jolla Concourse is going to be here, the Mopar Club of San Diego. Car2go’s going to offer the Park2Win challenge where you can park some car2gos for a really fun family-friendly challenge. You can win an iPad mini…lots of cool things to do. And it’s really easy to get down here.”

There will also be a people’s choice ballot and awards ceremony at Henry’s Pub.

The showcase runs from 11 am to 4 pm Sunday and includes high-performance, luxury, contemporary, and classic cars and motorcycles.
