FBI, SDPD Search for Robbery Suspect

The FBI and San Diego police are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Mission Valley Friday morning.

The suspect, described as being in his 40s or 50s, entered a Wells Fargo Bank at 1350 Fashion Valley Road around 10 a.m., said Sgt. Ray Battrick, with San Diego police.

The robber allegedly then used a note to demand cash from a teller before fleeing the seen on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. 

The suspect was last seen running to an apartment complex at 6526 Friars Road, said Battrick.

He’s described as having short blond hair, no facial hair and was wearing a black jacket with a grey liner that he removed after the robbery, according to a media release.
