Construction could cause delays for people trying to get to the airport Saturday.
Beginning at 8 p.m., drivers will be forced to take a detour around a portion of Lindbergh field in front of Terminal 2 East. The airport is preparing to demolish the Terminal 2 East pedestrian bridge to make way for a dual-level road.
The construction could impact those picking up passengers or catching a flight. The detour will temporarily close the curb front in front of Terminal One East for passenger drop-offs and pick-ups, but the curb front at Terminal 2 West will be available to accommodate passenger drop-offs and pick-ups.
