A bomb threat was issued at a bank located on the San Diego State University campus, according to university officials.

Around 3:45 p.m. a call was received issuing the threat at the U.S. Bank branch on campus. Officials evacuated the West Commons area as a precaution.

SDSU police investigated the incident. A bomb-sniffing dog was dispatched around 5 p.m. to examine the area and 40 minutes later the area was cleared. Student and faculty were allowed inside the building before 6 p.m.

No injuries have been reported and no suspicious devices were found.
