Escondido CVS Pharmacy Robbed at Knifepoint

The suspect got away with drugs and cash, police say

A suspect was on the loose Friday night after holding up a North County CVS pharmacy.

The robbery happened at the CVS at 2427 East Valley Parkway around 9:10 p.m.

Escondido Police said the suspect approached the teller with a knife and calmly said, "Give me what I want, and I won't hurt you."

The teller complied, handing over drugs and cash from the register.

The suspect threw the stolen items into a trash bag and ran away in an unknown direction.

It's unclear exactly which drugs and how much money was stolen.
