A driver is in custody after a short chase and foot pursuit in National City, the San Diego Police said.
The incident happened around 10:58 a.m. on Morning Breeze Court in National City, where police said an officer attempted to pull over a stolen car.
Police said the driver fled at a high speed and the police chase went into National City. At one point, the driver ditched the car and fled on foot.
He is now in custody, police said.
