Driver Strikes Normal Heights Woman, Dog on Morning Walk

The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. at 33rd and Adams.

San Diego police are looking for a car that struck a woman and a dog walking in Normal Heights, killing the dog.

Lt. Kevin Mayer told NBC 7 the collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. at 33rd and Adams.

A woman, described by officials as in her 20s, was walking her dog when she was hit. Her dog was killed. She was transported to Scripps Mercy with a leg injury, Mayer said.

Officers are looking for a dark gray Scion with damage on both corners that left the scene traveling southbound on 34th.
