Suspects Flee After Crashing Into Building

Police investigated the scene in Hillcrest Saturday after a car crashed into a building on 4th Avenue .

Police are searching for a driver and passenger who fled the scene after crashing into a building in Hillcrest Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the hit-and-run collision happened around 2:45 p.m. on the 3100 block of 4th Avenue.

Police said two people were spotted running away after the crash. They left a third person behind at the scene that had been riding in the car and sustained a broken leg as a result of the crash.

Officials immediately began scouring the area for the suspects, who police said are now facing felony hit-and-run charges for fleeing the scene.
