Driver Crashes into Oceanside Electrical Box

A man was injured Tuesday night after crashing into an electrical box in Oceanside.

Oceanside Police Department officials responded to the single-car crash on Rancho del Oro Drive and Seagate Way at about 6 p.m.

The driver had apparently cut across the median and collided with the electrical box. He was transported to the hosptial.

Authorities with the OPD said the driver may have had a medical condition which contributed to the crash.

SDG&E was requested to assist with the electrical box.
